We are the official representative of Datar Cancer Genetics in Estonia, working with leading international partners in the field of oncology. We offer advanced blood-based tests (liquid biopsies) that enable the detection of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and the analysis of genetic and other characteristics of solid tumors.

Dr. Andrus Mägi is an experienced oncologist and researcher whose work is dedicated to cancer research and optimal patient care. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in 1992 and has since contributed to the development of the Estonian medical field.
After completing his general internship, he moved into the field of immunology, where he worked for six years, but a deepening interest in oncology led him to change specialties. Today, he has long-standing and diverse experience in all Estonian oncology healthcare institutions, offering patients high-level treatment and actively participating in medical research.
Currently, Dr. Mägi works as a senior physician and lecturer at Tartu University Hospital and Ida-Viru Central Hospital, and as an oncologist at East-Tallinn Central Hospital. He also sees patients at the Confido Medical Centre. He specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal, skin (including melanoma), kidney, soft tissue, and neuroendocrine tumors. In recent years, he has focused more on personalized medicine as well as molecular and immunological treatments.
Dr. Mägi's knowledge and experience make a significant contribution to the work of the Cancer Research Center in advancing evidence-based cancer treatment and providing patients with innovative and effective treatment solutions.
Prof. Jüri Teras is a renowned physician and cancer surgeon whose research and clinical activities focus on cancer research, surgical treatments, and innovative treatment strategies. He is a long-standing board chairman of the Tallinn Association of Physicians, the Estonian Association of Surgeons, and the Estonian Society of Oncologists, and has played a significant role in advancing the Estonian healthcare system and oncological care.
In his daily work, Prof. Teras works as a cancer surgeon, specializing in complex tumor removal operations and personalized treatment planning for patients. Hundreds of successful operations have been performed under his guidance, helping to improve the quality of life of cancer patients and increase their chances of survival.
In scientific research, Prof. Teras's focus is on early cancer diagnostics, the implementation of personalized medicine, and immunotherapy, helping to develop new and more effective treatment methods. In addition to research and clinical practice, he is also dedicated to medical education, mentoring young physicians and researchers, and promoting awareness in oncology.
His significant contribution to Estonian cancer research and healthcare has made him one of the leading figures in the field in both clinical and research work.
